# Deleting an existing echelon

If an existing echelon needs to be deleted for some reason, it can be done. The red trash can icon represents a delete function.

Each echelon has a delete icon on its own row. When deleting, please make sure the wanted echelon is selected. User is prompted on whether they are sure they want to delete the echelon.&#x20;
