# Create a blank project (Trimble Connect)

This is the quickest way to start a new project, but it might take some time later on to create the needed folder structure, user groups, define the project settings and possible restrictions to the project folders.

Access [web.connect.trimble.com ](https://web.connect.trimble.com)and after successful sign in, click New -button on the right top corner.

Clicking New -button, will open a new dialog where project is to be named and a project ownership to be assigned. Also a short project description, estimated start and end dates can be added, but these are optional.

To finalize the the project creation, click **Submit** and a new, empty project is created.
