Key aspects and assets that must be prepared to use the connector

Whitelist domains

Some organization IT environments require to list certain webpages as safe and secure. Please contact your IT department and whitelist the Connector domains.

Domains to whitelist (All customers):

· connector.besmart.software [not yet in use, but will be]

· connector-api.besmart.software [not yet in use, but will be]

US customers:

· connector-us.besmart.software

· connector-api-us.besmart.software

European customers:

· connector-eu.besmart.software

· connector-api-eu.besmart.software

Australian and New Zealand customers:

· connector-au.besmart.software

· connector-api-au.besmart.software

Licenses

• Active Bluebeam subscription

  • Bluebeam Studio access

    • Please note that creation of Studio Projects and Sessions requires certain license type

  • Make sure that the Studio server used by your organization is identified and supported

• Active Forma Hub subscription & membership with proper permissions

  • Install the Connector to specific Forma Hub

    • This requires Account admin rights

  • Make sure that you have the hub identified and have access to it

Please note, that only the user actually using the connector, must have active subscription to both.

User rights

• Bluebeam

  • User permissions can be adjusted by using the ACC-Bluebeam Connector, please use it according to grant right type of access to the users

• Autodesk Forma

  • Be.Smart Connector uses the same permissions as set in Autodesk Forma (ACC).

    • As an example, if user has access to only specific folders within Forma, they will only see those

  • For the best experience, Forma Permission level should be at least Edit.
