# BOM

The *BOM* panel contains a set of commands that help users quickly either manipulate the bill of materials (BOM) or extract the information from it. Particularly the commands like *Copy*, *Sync*, and *Sync2* can save users a tremendous amount of time that would have to be spent on the manual renumbering of items in the main assembly and subassemblies.
