# Installation & Activation Guide

## Installation Video

## Basic Steps

### 1. Verify system requirements

Make sure your system meets the [minimum requirements](/older-26.0.0/system-requirements.md) recommended for Autodesk Inventor and check you have sufficient privileges to install applications.&#x20;

### 2. Download the installation file

Use the official [download link](https://download.holixa.com/?id=holixa-t4i).

### 3. Run the installer

Once the download is complete, double-click the file to start the installation process.

### 3. Accept the license agreement

Read the license agreement thoroughly and accept it before continuing with the installation. Then click the Install button.

### 4. Allow making changes

If prompted by MS User Account Control, click "Yes" to allow the installation process to make changes to your computer.

### 5. Wait

Wait for the installation process to complete.

### 6. Finish the installation

Once the installation is complete, click "Finish".

### 7. Run Inventor

Launch the Autodesk Inventor to get access to Holixa T4I.

### 8. Unblock the add-in if necessary

Should you, in rare cases, get the message about an add-in being blocked by Inventor, go to `Tools -> Add-Ins`, find the *Holixa: Tools for Inventor*, and check both *Load Automatically* and *Loaded/Unloaded* checkboxes.

### 9. Choose the Web License

### 10. Login

Fill out the login details you received by e-mail or were provided by your contract manager. Then click *Connect*.

Alternatively, if you want just to test the application, you can click the *Start trial version* button.

### 11. Quit the Holixa window

After successful login click the *Quit* button.

### 12. Continue in Inventor

Then continue in Inventor by opening any existing or new document.

### 13. Boost your productivity with Holixa T4I!

Now you're all set, you can start boosting your productivity with Holixa T4I!

## Additional (Not Mandatory) Steps

### 1. User interface language

The language of your HolixaT4I user interface will be selected automatically based on the user interface language of your Inventor installation. You can change it anytime from `Holixa T4I Settings -> General` ribbon, `Language` drop-down list.

### 2. Country of support

When you access technical support for the first time, you have the option to select the support country corresponding to the country of your T4I license supplier.

Also, the support country can be changed anytime from the Holixa T4I settings.
