# What is the One Installer? ### **What is One Installer for?** * One Installer is an app that allows you to select products you wish to install and then collectively installs them onto your computer. ### **Why are only some apps being shown?** * One Installer scans your computer for installed programs, and based on this input, it selects applications that should be installed. You can always uncheck any of these suggested apps. ### **Why use the Advanced installation?** * [Advanced Installation](/one-installer/advanced-installation.md) enables you to install any product in available version and provides an option to uninstall them as well. ### Do I have to install the Installer first? * No, it is portable so you can run it straight away as long as you have internet connection.
