# Installation & Activation Guide

## Installation

### 1. Verify system requirements

Make sure your system meets the [minimum requirements](/p4v/system-requirements.md) and check you have sufficient privileges to install applications.

### 2. Download the installation file

Use the official [download link](https://download.besmart.software/?id=holixa-p4v) to download the file.

### 3. Run the installer

Once the download is complete, double-click the file to start the installation process.

### 4. Continue in the Setup Wizard

Click "Next" to proceed with the installation.

### 5. Accept the license agreement <a href="#id-5.-accept-the-license-agreement" id="id-5.-accept-the-license-agreement"></a>

Read the license agreement thoroughly and accept it before continuing with the installation. Then click "Install".

If prompted by MS User Account Control, click "Yes" to allow the installation process to make changes to your computer.

### 6. Wait

Wait for the installation process to complete.

### 7. Finish the installation

Once the installation is complete, click "Finish".

## Product Activation

### 1. Run Autodesk Vault Professional client

Launch the Autodesk Vault Professional client to get access to Be.Smart Publisher4VLT. Publisher4VLT licensing window should appear automatically. If not, from the *Tools* menu, select *Publisher4VLT* > *About Add-in...* command. Then click the *License* button.

### 2. Login

Fill out the login details you received by e-mail or were provided by your contract manager in order for Publisher4VLT to be activated. Then click *Login*.

Alternatively, if you don't have the license but you want to test the application, you can click the *Start Trial* button.

### 3. License details

Go to the *Tools* menu, select *Publisher4VLT* -> *About Add-in...* command. Then click the *License* button. In the window, you will see if the license is valid, its expiration date, and the product version.

To see to whom the license was assigned, log out from the license, or enter credentials, click the *License* button in the bottom left corner of the window.&#x20;
