  • assumption = all properties to be transferred to/from external systems are already configured in Vault

  • start MS SQL Management Studio

  • join DI (identical to EC)

  • add a custom field to the EcENTITY event EcASSOC table

  • VE - invoke EC command 'Configuration ...' with Ctrl key held down (force cfg refresh)

  • map properties to DI fields, set up association transfer, etc.

  • save configuration

  • restart VE

  • verify that the configuration is saved
