From the Vault Professional client Tools menu, open Publisher4VLT -> Configuration.
Check that the Logging level is set to Verbose
. If anything goes wrong with your publishing jobs, you can examine the log files for more details. You can access the log files by clicking the Open folder button.
In the File and Item tabs, check all options to show Publisher4VLT commands and user interface elements in the file/item's right-mouse-click menu and the Vault client Preview Pane.
This will allow you to:
manually create a publishing job for the file or item,
run a PackAndGo command to search for all published files on related entities and create a ZIP package from them,
check what files were published (and what are missing) for the selected file/item in a
separate window, or
a dedicated tab in the preview pane (Vault client restart is needed for the change to take effect).
If needed, you can change the priority of manually submitted jobs on the Publisher4VLT's Jobs tab. Double-click the priority value and enter a new value.
Jobs created during state transitions are submitted with a default priority value (100).
To better balance the publishing load, multiple job processors can be used to handle selected jobs. Note that a Publisher4VLT license is required for each job processor.
If necessary, jobs can be enabled or disabled for specific job processors in the Jobs run column. Disabled jobs will still be sent to the queue but will not be processed by the job processor where they were disabled. Therefore, it is essential to have another job processor where these jobs are enabled to ensure they are processed.
The Job Processor application must be restarted for the changes to take effect.
