Right-mouse-click the IDW file and select Publisher4VLT -> Create publishing jobs.
A message will inform you that an Arkance.VaultPublisher.Inventor.Pdf job was successfully added to a queue for the selected IDW file. Click OK.
Run the Autodesk Job Processor 20xx for Vault (the 'xx' corresponds to your installed Vault version), or utilize the Pause/Resume workflow. The publishing job will be processed.
Refresh the Vault client window.
The PDF file from the IDW drawing was created in the same location as the source file.
The PDF file was created (according to the publishing job configuration):
with the revision included in the file name,
within the Engineering category,
and the Work in Progress state was assigned.
The published PDF file was attached to the source IDW file.
A watermark indicating the document revision was applied to the published PDF file.
Finally, the properties from the source IDW files were copied to the published PDF file. This can be checked by comparing the properties of the IDW and PDF files or by reviewing comments in the version history of the published PDF file. There's also a note about category/revision/state synchronization for the PDF file.
The source IDW file was updated because the PDF file was attached to it.
