Known Issues

  • Some user accounts may experience random web license disconnecting. That may happen mostly after midnight. Manual reconnecting/restart of the licensing client is necessary.

  • A standalone licensing method may experience issues if a shared licensing folder is used.

  • The API key licensing method may experience issues if a shared licensing folder is used.

  • Inventor Model states are not supported.

We are working on fixes, and in the meantime, we recommend you test the behavior before deployment to the production environment.

Fixes

  • Post-processes: It sometimes happened that the post-process executed and finished successfully, but the job ended with an error.

  • The AutoCAD startup when publishing from AutoCAD PDF and AutoCAD DWG modules.

  • Loading of file associations and attachments on items.

  • The Inventor Raster job creation on items.

New features and improvements

A definition of when the post-process should be started

  • After publishing to a temporary folder;

  • after copying the published file to a destination folder.

Access to configuration window without a license

  • Allowed mainly to change the logging level for debugging purposes.

Visibility of the "Open Folder" button on the "Published Files" tab

  • Improved behavior of the button.

  • Files published into VLT - the button is invisible.

  • Files published out of VLT - the button is visible (if the published file is available).

"Publishing visualizations" module improvements

  • Improved the process of getting visualizations. If the visualization is unavailable, P4V retries to get the visualization again after 30 seconds. This can be repeated 3 times.

  • Post-processes allowed for Publish Visualization module.
