Tracker registration process

Part of the hardware installation process is to register the trackers to Site Productivity and assign those to the right machine.

To speed up the process, it is recommended to create the machine(s) to Site Productivity prior to the tracker installation.

The physical tracker installation guide can be found here:

Tracker activation

Access the Tracker -tab in the mobile app and select the large plus icon on the low right corner.

Once the plus icon is selected a new view will open, enabling to create a new tracker.

When creating a new tracker, there serial number of the tracker must be filled in carefully. This is how a tracker can be associated with all the collected information. To ease the process and minimize the possibility to mistyping, there is an option to scan the bar code from the tracker.

Once the tracker serial number is filled in, it can be saved. However it is strongly recommended to assign the tracker to the right machine as early as possible to avoid any mistakes.

Debugging the tracker

There is a way to make sure the tracker is working and sending data to Site Productivity. This is possible by using the debug functionality in settings tab. Access the settings tab and activate the debug mode.

Once the debug mode is activated, access the trackers -tab and select the wanted tracker.

The most important values are the engine state and proximity sensor, which are capable of indicating whether the tracker is working or not.
