# Basic types of jobs and their origin

* Arkance.Export
  * is created either automatically when the life cycle state changes (= transition) or manually (Send to DI command).
* Arkance.Import.Initiate
  * is created from a timed (Sched) job with a period of 1 minute and contains the Server and Database parameters.
* Arkance.Import
  * is created during import initialization contains the parameter `DI_bulk_Id = <batch number in the exchange interface>`
