Version 30.2.1.0

Released on August 6th, 2025

For information on the compatibility of each P4V version with Autodesk Vault versions, visit the System Requirements page. To download the software, visit our download page.

Changes

Starting with version 2025, AutoCAD uses UTF-8 for handling non-ASCII characters. This conflicted with the current version of Publisher4VLT for Vault 2025, causing exports from AutoCAD drawings to PDF to fail when filenames or layout names contained diacritic characters (e.g., ěščřžýáíé, etc.).

The updated version of Publisher4VLT ensures compatibility with AutoCAD's encoding requirements, assuming publishing is performed using the full AutoCAD application or the AC Core Console.

Users/customers who don't use non-ASCII characters with diacritics don't need to install this updated version of Publisher4VLT.

Known Issues

  • Publishing of AutoCAD DWG to PDF does not work for DWG files with diacritics in their filenames when a TrueView core console is used.

  • If an AutoCAD DWG file name contains Ú in the file name, the publishing process fails.

As a rule of thumb, we recommend avoiding the use of diacritic characters or any other special characters in file names, regardless of file type or intended usage.
